Deployment Options

Our products are designed for easy adoption at all levels.

Outlined below are the potential deployment configurations to gain access to and utilize our application offerings. We highly recommend encrypted local data storage, encrypted network transmissions, and certificate server authentication for all customer data.

Corporate Installation

In this configuration EMS and the EMS Database are installed in the corporate data center inside the corporate network and the corporate firewall security structures. The End Users connect to their corporate network as they normally do and all network security is provided by the corporate network infrastructure. The End User can use either Windows-based or browser based applications.

ASP Hosted Corporate Installation

In this configuration EMS and the EMS Database are installed at our ASP facility behind our ASP firewall and other security infrastructures. The End Users access the internet over their corporate network or however they normally access the internet. Through a secure authentication process they are granted access to their corporate EMS and EMS database, which may or may not have integration to other corporate platforms based upon the client's in-house security policies. The End User can use either Windows-based or browser based applications.

ASP Hosted Endorsement Installation

In this configuration EMS and the EMS Database are installed at our ASP facility behind our ASP firewall and other security infrastructures. The End Users access the internet over their corporate network or however they normally access the internet. Through a secure authentication process they are granted access to their corporate EMS for licensing and statistics tracking only, there is no central customer file storage. The End User can use either Windows-based Methuselah or browser based Financial Compass with a local database. The browser based version of Methuselah is not available in this configuration. End Users will be prompted for their payment information through our License Utilization Manager Server as part of the initial registration process.

ASP for Individuals and Small Advisory Firms

In this configuration EMS and the EMS Database are installed at our ASP facility behind our ASP firewall and other security infrastructures. The End Users access the internet however they normally do. Through a secure authentication process they are granted access to EMS for licensing only, there are no other EMS functions. The End User can use either Windows-based Methuselah or browser based Financial Compass with a local database. The browser based version of Methuselah is not available in this configuration. End Users will be prompted for their payment information through Financial Guidance's License Utilization Manager Server as part of the initial registration process.
